At The Vine, The New Republic’s environment/energy blog, they put up this picture from a PDF of a study of how to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of the United States.
Eyeballing it, I’d say that 40% of those solutions are negative-cost: companies and individuals would save money by implementing them. Sure, it’s by 2030, but negative-cost! It boggles my mind that the government and we, the people, aren’t pushing harder for these things.
